Who we are
Tidy is operated by TIDY AI LTD.. If you use Tidy on behalf of a business, that business is the data controller for the personal data in your emails and Tidy acts as its data processor.
What we store
- Your email address, mail server name, language and sector, and your mail password (encrypted with AES-256).
- For each email: sender, subject and date, and what Tidy produced: summary, priority, category, dates and attachment names.
- We do not store email bodies or attachments. When you open them, they are read from your mail server on the spot.
Why
To provide the service you signed up for: summarizing and prioritizing your emails, drafting replies and keeping the service secure.
Who we share it with
- Anthropic PBC (USA) processes the text of each email to produce its summary and reply drafts. Anthropic does not use API data to train its models.
- Our hosting provider, where the application and database run.
How long
Until you delete your account. Deleting your account removes all of your data immediately; backups are cleared within 14 days.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction or deletion of your data at any time. You can delete your account yourself from the account menu (“Delete account and data”). Contact: privacy@yourtidy.com
